Galbraith Family Medicine, LLC, was founded in 2010, by husband and wife team David Galbraith, MD, and Kathryn Galbraith, MD, as an independent, rural community practice to care for the health needs of the whole family.  Our focus is on providing quality care, including managing chronic illnesses, treating acute problems, and promoting a healthy lifestyle to prevent disease.  It is common for us to care for entire families of many generations and to be involved in the health and well-being of those in the community with whom we do business, like the grocer or banker.  We are small and strive to promote a family-feel to our practice.  Our ability to make our own decisions without the layers of bureaucracy seen at hospital-owned practices allows us to tailor our practice to the needs of our patients and nimbly respond to changes in the healthcare environment.  We also collaborate with organizations like Ibis Health, which provides the tools we need to provide Chronic Care Management to our eligible Medicare patients, and Aledade’s New England region Accountable Care Organization (ACO) which assists us in maximizing the quality of care we deliver and gaining access to a variety of resources to help our patients get and stay well. The priority at Galbraith Family Medicine, LLC, is to create a strong doctor-patient relationship so that good health decisions can be made and implemented as a team. The hard work of our friendly, caring staff allows us to provide an efficient and personal touch to the care we deliver. Our commitment to the health and well-being of those in the area is strong, because we are part of this community ourselves. We want this area to be a happy, healthy place in which to live, work, and raise a family, and we are proud to be part of making that a reality now and into the future.
